Starting the New School Year 2011-12!!

Wow- September here. We are all off to a VERY busy start!
I am excited to see our little group do some very cool things.
This next week is the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art -
Time Based Art (TBA) festival.
PICA- TBA trailer      PICA website  Go to see ONE thing at least.  Get ready to see some way out there performances that may leave you scratching your head.
One of my former students Anna Gray and her husband are in it too = their website .
Remember to print out your September calendar as well as the
IW Intro and the Intro to IW Research.   Look at other documents, but you do not need to print them out yet.  Begin thinking and drawing images of and about yourself. In your portfolio you should have a self portrait with likeness, but if you have done that- head in a new direction. ok xo  ms.lilly

This exhibition presents the work of Lincoln High School students
who will have completed the IB- International Baccalaureate Visual
Arts Examination with an emphasis in Studio Art. These dedicated
students have produced a body of artwork developed around a
focused thesis of study. Spanning a period of either 7 or 18 months,
students researched a variety of media, artists, cultures and
aesthetics and culminate in an exhibition/examination of their
artwork. Special thanks to Bitar Companies for donating the space.
Come and celebrate their success!!
